Oil Paint And Pregnancy
Pregnancy and paint fumes?
I'm kind of freaking out now because I'm 6 months pregnant and my husband painted the house this weekend. He used Oil-based paints, which someone just told me is harmful for me to be around. I have two days in the house with these vapors (with the window open) and sleep at night (not in the room was painted, but I could definitely still smell the smoke). I know there's nothing I can do about it now but, well if the paint is dry, the house still smells. I just hurt my baby?
Vapors can harm the baby and you should not in the house until it does not smell more, but as it happens, you should go to the doctor to check the baby heartbeat.I think you should have no problems, but just to be safe. Good luck and relax!
